Lissy
Lissy was born on 3rd February 1967 in Ernakulam district to parents Pappachan and Eliyamma.She studied at St.Theresa's college and after completion of Pre-Degree course joined films as an actress in the early 80's.The beautiful actress was liked by the audience and she handled well noted and important roles in films of famous directors like I.V.Sasi,Balachandra Menon.Priyadarshan,Joshy,Sibi Malayil,Thampi Kannanthanam,Fazil,Bharathan etc and performed quite impressively always.She acted in several films of director Priyadarshan in that decade.She married Priyadarshan in the year 1990 and after the marriage she accepted 'Hinduism' and changed her name as 'Lakshmi'.
Mutharam Kunnu P.O. was directed by Sibi Malayil in which she handled the role of K.P.Amminikutty, an immature young girl who writes love letters to popular film stars.
In the film Boeing Boeing directed by Priyadarshan in the year 1985 she was one of the heroines and acted along with Mohanlal,Mukesh,Sukumari etc.
In the comedy film Aram+Aram=Kinnaram, she was one of the heroines along with Pooja Saxena.Mohan Lal,Shankar,Sreenivasan,Maniyan Pillai Raju,Thilakan etc acted in it.
In the film 'Aa Neram Alpa Dooram' her character as 'Valsala' was well liked by the audience and critics.Mammootty,M.G.Soman,Lalu Alex,Jose Prakash,Seema,Unni Mary etc acted in it.
Her role in the film 'Kathode Kathoram' directed by Bharathan in which she acted along with Mammootty and Saritha earned appreciation.
In the comedy film 'Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu' directed by Priyadarshan, Lissy was the heroine.Mohan Lal,Sreenivasan,Mukesh,Maniyan Pillai Raju Jagathy,Kuthiravattam Pappu etc acted in this film.
In the film 'Thalavattam' she acted as the girlfriend of Vinod (Mohan Lal).In this film her character dies because of an electric shock and Vinod becomes a mental patient as the result of his deep depression.Mohan Lal,Mukesh,M.G.Soman,Jagathy Sreekumar,Karthika etc acted in it.
In the blockbuster film 'Chithram' directed by Priyadarshan in 1998 she acted as a mute dancer who was the daughter of a police head Constable.Still photographer Vishnu loved her and married her but suspected that innocent girl later which paved way for many consequences.
In the super hit film 'Kuttettan' in 1990 she acted along with Mammootty,Urvashy,Maathu,Saritha etc.
She acted in the Tamil hit film 'Vikram' directed by Rajasekhar in 1986, and acted along with Kamal Hassan,Sathyaraj,Amjad Khan,Dimple Kapadia,Ambika,Charuhassan etc.
She has acted in some other Tamil films like 'Ananda Aradhanai,Manasukkul Mathappu' etc.
She has acted in many films.'Mogadu' was a Telugu film of 1989 in which she acted as heroine opposite Rajaserkhar.Thyagarajan,Murali Mohan etc also acted in it which was directed by K.Madhu.
Sakshi,Doshi Nirdoshi,Mamasri'Aatha Bandhan,SivaShakthi etc are some other films in which Lissy acted.
